From Prompt to Proof

From Prompt to Proof

How I use AI after the answer

AI can produce an answer in seconds. That has never been the hard part.

The hard part is giving it the right context, deciding what it may do, protecting the work that must remain human, and proving the result deserves to be trusted.

I use ChatGPT to think, research, challenge assumptions, and shape decisions. I use ChatGPT Work for longer assignments that depend on context spread across files and connected tools. I use Codex to build, test, review, and repair the systems underneath the work.

This is my field record of what happens after the prompt.

Each case will show the real operating problem, the division of labor between human and machine, the authority and limits, what failed, the evidence I required, and the current maturity of the work.

Some systems are only drafted. Some have been built or tested. A smaller number have operated with human review. I will not collapse those states into a claim of autonomy or proof.

The goal is practical: better judgment, stronger systems, fewer open loops, and more time for the work and people that still need me.

I want the field notes

Receive one real workflow at a time, including the human judgment, what failed, and the evidence required before the work was considered complete.

What every case includes

  • The real problem and starting condition
  • The role assigned to the AI system
  • Permitted and prohibited actions
  • Human-only judgment
  • The exception path
  • Evidence and acceptance criteria
  • Failure, limitation, or cost
  • Current M0 to M5 maturity
  • Last verified date
  • What remains unproven

The standard

Fast output is not finished work.

A green checkmark can report activity. It cannot decide whether the intended outcome is true.

The work is complete only when the evidence reaches the system that owns the result, the exceptions are visible, and a responsible person accepts closure.
